Mariah Carey gave birth to twins on Saturday, April 30, which happens to be her third wedding anniversary, as she and husband Nick Cannon were married again the next day.

As reported at The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, May 2, 2011, Mariah Carey gave birth to a girl and a boy at around 9 a.m. (Los Angeles time) but the name of the hospital was not disclosed.
Apparently, the baby girl was delivered first and weighed 5 pounds and 3 ounces, while the baby boy weighed 5 pounds and 6 ounces.
“The babies were born on their wedding anniversary, and not even Mariah could plan that!” Mariah Carey’s spokesperson Cindi Berger was quoted as saying, but did not reveal the names of the twins.
“My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won’t ever be able to top this!” Nick Cannon tweeted on Sunday.
“I’m in the happiest place I’ve ever been in my life. I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God‘s favor.” Cannon tweeted later.
Meanwhile, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon renewed their vows on Sunday in the hospital where the 41-year old pop singer gave birth.
“We just had a wedding in the hospital!” the 30-year old comedian-rapper confirmed on Twitter, with the wedding officiated by Rev. Al Sharpton.
